Here’s your market recap for the month of January 2020 (sourced from REINZ statistics)
Lets start with the Nelson Region, the median sale price was $600,000 which dropped 08% since the previous month. There were 77 sales and the average days to sell were 43. Compared to the previous year we are still seeing a high volume of sales at this time of year, which shows properties are still selling well even though the average days to sell have increased.
Other than the number of properties sold almost halving for the month of January compared to December the Tasman Regions coasting along nicely. The median sale price was $655,000, there were 41 sales and the median days to sell were 46.
57a Beach Road has S O L D and what an interesting and long journey. Here are the stats – It was on the market for 112 days, we had 38 groups through the property, which generated 4 offers. There were a few hickups along the way and complications but in the end we achieved a good sale price at market value. We have one elated owner who is super excited to start her next chapter and a set of pretty chuffed buyers who I know will do amazing things to the property. Thank you to my Seller and Buyers for trusting me to facilitate this for you.
